How do our guests rate Residence Santa Maria?

The property is very elegant, just a few meters from the beach, with some rooms offering beautiful sea views (unfortunately, not ours). We didn't have breakfast (which can be added for €25), but there's a bar opposite that offers a light breakfast for €9.50. Across the street are kiosks offering excursions, sailing lessons, dinghies, and more. If you're up for a morning jog, I recommend the Isola Rossa tour, ending at the Pietra Lighthouse. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking isn't large enough for all cars, but it's easy to find on the street. The marina is a short walk away, as is the town center, where restaurants, bars, and various other venues are located.

The room is small: the residence formula with a kitchenette should have more space, but we were really cramped. It's fine for two people; three would be too cramped.

In conclusion, the overall opinion is positive considering the quality of the structure, even if for the price paid we expected something more.

Disappointed by our experience at the Santa Maria.

We stayed three nights in the Tramontana suite for approximately €1500.

The suite is pleasant, but two points are worth noting: the view overlooks the parking lot, and the daily train traffic is quite noisy.

However, it was primarily the hotel's attitude that disappointed us.

- The baby cot is charged at €25 per day. Considering the suite's price, this supplement seems particularly petty.

- On the day of departure, I asked if it would be possible to keep the room a little longer to avoid waiting for our ferry in the middle of a heatwave with our baby. Since the room wasn't being re-let immediately, I was hoping for some kind of compensation. I was offered an extension at €60 per hour, without any alternative solutions (such as an available standard room) being considered.

Finally, room cleaning is done in the mid-afternoon, with a lot of noise in the hallways. This level of disturbance is difficult to accept for an establishment of this category.

Ultimately, despite a lovely suite, the lack of flexibility and attention to guests leaves a bitter taste. At this price point, we expected more generous service, more focused on customer satisfaction. We will not be returning.

Lovely studio, with the option to use the private beach of the associated hotel across the street. Super spot (with a very extensive breakfast buffet!).

A truly strategic location and a very pleasant property overall. The room was large, clean, and spacious, but there were a few small points that could be improved. Daily cleaning wasn't always automatic, and we had to request it a few times in the afternoon.

The kitchen was present but poorly equipped, and despite the size of the property, there was no mirror outside the bathroom to comfortably get ready before leaving. The shower, which doesn't have a stall, was also a bit inconvenient, with water easily spilling out.

Furthermore, the towels weren't always adequate for the number of guests (there were three of us, but they were often left for two). We also felt that some decorative elements in the room, such as the pillows and the bed runner, should be removed because they were impractical, easily dust-catching, and absolutely unhygienic in everyday use.

Overall, a very pleasant property with excellent potential, although some organizational and practical aspects could be improved. However, we should highlight the great kindness of the owner and all the staff, who were always friendly, helpful, and ready to help with any need.

Great accommodation – cleanliness and location were top-notch!

We had a fantastic stay! The accommodation was great, everything was clean, and the location is simply superb. The only minor drawback: a little more equipment in the kitchen would have been nice. Otherwise, we were completely satisfied and can absolutely recommend this accommodation!
